 Cheryl
Alexander, Ph.D. is currently providing biofeedback and
psychological services at her private practice located in Apex,
North Carolina. Dr. Alexander has had a life-long interest in
parapsychology and conducted research in this area at the Institute
for Parapsychology in Durham, NC from 1993-2000. She was a recipient
of the Frances P. Bolton Fellowship for post-doctoral studies in
parapsychology; a recipient of the Eileen J. Garrett Scholarship for
Parapsychological Research; and a recipient of the Gertrude R.
Schmeidler Award for Outstanding Student Contribution to
Parapsychology. She served as the Business Manager for the
Parapsychological Association from 2000 - 2005 and has served in the
capacity of Director and Treasurer on the Parapsychological
Association's Board of Directors.
Area of parapsychological interest:
Dr. Alexander has conducted and published research in the area of
EEG/psychophysiology and parapsychology. She has been presented this
work at several mainstream conferences in order to help
parapsychology become recognized as a serious field of study by
other academic disciplines.
