The Ganzfeld Experiment

 


The receiver, instructed to be receptive to incoming imagery, reported out loud all the thoughts, images, and feelings that they experienced during the experimental session. A microphone connected to a tape recorder allowed the experimenter to monitor and transcribe the receiver's imagery and created a permanent record of everything the receiver said during the session.
The session started with a 15 minute relaxation-induction procedure followed by 30 minutes of "thinking-out-loud."   next page
